Quick October Reflection & Wrap-Up Prompts
Retrospectives really are helpful but only when we actually do them!
Hello hello! Happy Friday!
It’s Halloween, which means it’s always a little harder to concentrate. But since this Friday is also the final day of October 2025, I wanted to invite everyone to join me in a five minute recap & retrospective of this month.
The Prompts
We’re getting right into it because again, it’s Friday.
If you made a list of goals for October or Q4 at the beginning of this month, feel free to glance over them before answering the prompts.
Having a list of goals is not a necessary part of this, but doesn’t it sound so official and nice to have a written list to refer back to? If it appeals at all, be sure to make one for yourself in November!
Together, let’s grab our prompt notebooks and favorite pen and write these three questions down:
My biggest accomplishment in October was…
Something I want to stop doing in November is…
I felt most successful this month when…
Set your timer for five minutes (or use the one below) and get ready to write!
Pens ready?
GO!
The Afters
Read through what you wrote down because now you have evidence of your thoughts! And isn’t that so lovely.
What about October’s accomplishment made it stand out to you?
How are you going to stop doing the thing you don’t want to keep doing in November? (Delegate, delete, divert!)
Is there a way to replicate those feelings of success in the upcoming month? Is there something you’re excited to try or accomplish coming up that you want to set yourself up for success around?
As always, we’re never writing alone around here so below is my monthly retro:
And now…
Let me know what your biggest accomplishment was in the comments!
If you made it this far in the newsletter on a Friday, be sure to leave a like!
I hope you have a fabulous rest of your Friday, avoid any sugar crashes, and I’ll catch you with the next newsletter this Monday!
